Sooo UtaPri Maji Love Revolutions (a.k.a. Season 3) is now done.

Honestly, it was a very so-so season for the franchise and most episodes felt like fillers for the whole thing.

And the ED theme just wasn't as catchy as the first one. ( who can forget DOKI×2で壊れそう1000%LOVE　HEY!!)

I didn't really care about the rivalry between Starish and Quartet Night and I no longer cared if this is a story tagged as romance because that ain't happenin'!

It's sad that Haruka is actually growing/maturing in season 3 but she ended up mostly as a background character. You have to give her credit for being so professional by not only composing Starish's song but for Quartet Night too. You'd think that she'd be partial to Starish since they be her harem but nooooooooo! When Quartet Night asked her to make changes to their song, she said yes, no further questions asked.

I mean composing a 반짝반짝 song to the "evolution" (their word not mine) of the 4 senpai (which I dub their diss song).

Answer is the "EVOLUTION"

So nothing much happened actually and I would suggest you skip out this season except for the episode where Otoya and Natsuki were trying to be like Tokiya and Syo (that one was funny) and the last episode because episode 13 was the saving grace of season 3 and would probably the only reason why you'll want to continue on to season 4 (well at least episode 1 of season 4 if the script keeps on sucking and sucking).

So what is it about episode 13? Well the whole concept of season 3 is that Shining (the annoying asshole that he is) is having Quartet Night be the opening act for some whatever and Starish wants in but papa Saotome ain't having any of it until the kouhais undergo revolution (whatever it meant to him anyway) so the 7 boys had some mix and match shit so they can reach Quartet Night's level (which I, as viewer, did not think there was much in the first place).

Anyway, the senpais had acknowledged their growth and now treated them as rivals instead of mentees and episode 13 was supposed to be their battle but both performances (again, as a viewer) were so-so. Quartet Night's song was pretty much a diss song towards Starish and it really wasn't much about them and their own growth and their voices don't blend well so yeah. Starish's song was so-so as well.

Lo and behold, a 3rd contender wanted in the fun! Remember the trio called HEAVENS? Well, they multiplied! HEAVENS now consists of 7 members and to match their Starish equivalents. While Ren's match was pretty obvious, I wasn't really expecting the other ones and I still have to see why Tokiya was matched with whoever he was matched with.

Sincerely, the addition of HEAVENS to the final episode was pretty unexpected and a breath of fresh air after the bull people got from the rest of the episodes.

I am hoping that all 3 groups would amp up their game and the SCRIPTWRITERS better get their heads out of their slumps because all these characters deserve justice and they owe the viewers the feeling of anticipation the same way they did in season 1!

Amazeballs! I checked my last post and it was dates 2012. dfashlksjhojzsgbfisbfadqd it's already 2015!

And for the last couple of years the shows that I was not yet able to watch... well... I still haven't seen them yet. LOL.

So a new season is among us and I'm starting with the 3rd season of Uta No Prince sama and I'm also going to check out Plastic Memories.

I haven't seen the complete line up for this season so I'm hoping to find some other shows to watch. Hopefully I don't drop them from my watching list.

I am waiting for the delivery of my online purchase to arrive and since ~~it's not here yet~~, I decided to start watching the episodes I have pending on my hard drive. I started out with Campione!

I was hooked with Harem.

He goes on a mission due to his grandfather's will > he meets the girl who wants to spoil his mission and kill him > he meets the antagonist and antagonist lets him be (for now) > girl goes with him to complete his mission > reason for mission gives him the thing he must bring back > he gets magical powers > powerful lady reminisces and remember old timer and compares heir to him > girl fights with antagonist > protagonist saves girl from dying > he makes a deal with someone and creates a miracle > girl kisses > he defeats the evil dude

Of course it's not done. After episode 1, the number of episodes for this show is still unknown. We may expect it to be done within this season or it may go on and on more than that. Who knows. All I know is after episode 1 he gets the title of Campione and he will then earn his very own harem! Oh the woes of being a dude.

Art is ok. It doesn't suck but it's not well bishie-fied? Then again, this isn't reverse harem, so whatev.

I already episode 2 of this show pending and episode 3 is on its way.

I'll prolly get to episode 2 after I watch episode 16 of Rock Lee.

Ooohh... Reverse harem shows. You are one of the few things that I just can't say no too, even if you are very sucky. Hahahahaha.

I love the fact that there are lists out there that shows the upcoming shows for a certain season. I can just pick out whatever I want to see even before they get shown. Whatever I will be watching for the season depends on my first impression. Mostly, if it's a reverse harem show and it has totes loads of bishies then it's instant like for me! LOLOLOLOL. I could care less if the show sucks bigtime. Hello Hiiro no Kakera?!

So today I shall blurb about La Storia della Arcana Famiglia.

No, this isn't the review post. I just finished downloading the 13th episode of this series which marks its end.

I think I reached episode until I stopped watching. It's not that I dropped it completely; however, it got bored with it along the way and stopped watching for the meantime.

Since I have all 13 episodes, I might as well start watching the entirety, right?

This show has 6 bishies and one very annoying heroine. Let's hope it's not a major let down.

Review: Naruto SD - Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden

LOL. I'm sorta "reviewing" episode 8, which means I skipped blabbing about the 7 episodes prior. Mwahaha. I was actually hoping to blab about this but I'm pretty much a lazy person.

So have seen up to episode 8 (should I refer to it as episode or chapter? since there are two episodes in one chapter. Ok, I'll stick with episode).

I forgot where I first saw this, but this is the only show I watch constantly this Spring 2012 line-up (Fairy Tail doesn't count since it's not a new show.).

Anyway, if you didn't know, Naruto SD Rock Lee is a spin-off series of the show Naruto. This one's light hearted but informative at the same time. By informative, I mean if you have stopped watching the original Naruto series (which I did), you would still know who da fuq they are talking about because they delve on who a certain character is in the main series).

Now depending on the episode, an episode may focus on one character or an episode may focus on two different characters per part. It depends.

The show mainly focuses on humor. It's pretty much a hit or miss thing. Personally, the start of part 1 of Episode 1 was funny so I continued laughing and watching. Unfortunately, watching Lee evade golden shitpoo get a tab bit boring and irritating. The episode 1 was saved because of part 2, when they showed the rivalry between Lee and Naruto. Seeing Lee try using jutsu, albeit, he actually can't use it was hilarious (imagine him trying to recreate Naruto's sexyjutsu).

( I believe this is considered spoilery... )

Pros: Funny. Light. Watch Neji make a fool out of himself.
Cons: Humor can be a bit dry and trying hard art times.
Will I continue to watch this?: Hell yes! I need to see more Neji!!!
Recommendations: I recommend people to watch this one if you are curious about Naruto but would rather not watch the main series.
Rating: because moe Neji compensates for everything.

So my last post was dated February 21st, 2012. That was.. a while ago.. Errr...

So instead of boring myself (or you; whoever who reads this) about how shitty my life is becoming because of work, I will talk about something else.

Anyway, the good thing about being a corporate slave is that I got the chance to buy my iPad, Juno.

Well, the one at the bottom is Juno; the ones on top are Siree (my Blackberry 9700) and Pallas (my Alcatel Glory 918N; a loyalty perk from Suncellular).

I finally gave my mom back her iPad, whom I named Silvr. So she's pretty much happy that she no longer needs to borrow her own iPad from me.

And I am rambling about everything again...

Going back to what I really wanted to share is that since I have my own iPad now, I have rekindled my love for reading.

Actually I never stopped reading. However, since I'm growing old and tired all the time; I cannot seem to find the time to read anything aside from manga and fanfiction.

Ever since my twin Emotionalgeek introduced me to the wonders of Cloudsharing, my ebooks are flying off the bookshelf and into Juno.

Also, because of the SOPA, PIPA, CISPA (and whatever other PA PA PA they can think of) our current old source is starting to become useless and that's just so sad.

The trend in the current old source is this:

Popular E-book Title > Available for download > Me: Cool, I'll download it tomorrow > The next day: Ohnoes! No more (insert book title here).

Hence, I am hoarding whatever I can get. Whether I will read them now, later, or never.

I'm currently trying to make a list of what I have so I can free some cloud space and so my friends can just check out my list for what I have and I can upload them for them.

Frustrations and what-nots

Woo! Amazingly, after months of staying at work an hour after my off, I finally got to go home right on time today!

It may not mean much to other people, but we're all getting stressed out at work. I get off (supposedly) at 3:30 pm but I usually go home 4-4:30.

Well, enough ranting about adult stuff.

2 weeks ago I was hinting to my dad that I wanted a Nintendo DS (I didn't really care which one, whatever was cheap). Actually, I was hoping he would let me use his credit card so I could buy a DS since my credit card limit cannot accommodate the price of a DS ( Too much shopping!)

So yeah, I was hoping he'd let me use his card (though, I was mostly wishing he'd buy me one which I don't have to pay). He declined, though. He said he can get it from someone for a cheaper price (compared to the mall price).

I didn't really feel that bad since I didn't need it asap. I just really wanted something to play because I am too uptight with money (yeah right), to spend in buying a game for my PS3. I was also debating whether I want a DS or an old PSP (the fat one).

Well, lo' and behold! That same week he got me a 3DS!

He also got me some 3D games but they're all for kids. I seriously think he got me the DS so I could "lend" it to my lil cousin (prolly because she's having a bad time/family probs), but I really don't mind.

Also that week, my brother went to Greenhills with his girlfriend and sent me a BBM message if I wanted to have him buy an Edge card. Of course I said yes, although we later found out the the Edge card doesn't work on the 3DS. However, the R4 does.

So I made him get me an R4 card which he got loaded up with the usual games I play (Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Harvest Moon, Pokemon ~hehehe~, etc).

So one Monday (my off days at work are Sundays and Mondays), I did my lazy Monday routine and stayed cooped inside my bedroom. I played Final Fantasy IV the whole day!

I reached the part after Cecil became a Paladin and decided that it was enough for the day.

The next day, after work, I was sooooo excited to continue playing FF4. When I got home and loaded the save file I got an error message that said my file was corrupted.

It was one of those serious FML moments. I didn't play FF4 ever since.

My dad was hinting to my lil cousin if she also wanted him to buy her a DS (coz I told her not to play mine anymore because she corrupted my memory card ~before my FF file died). Mwahahaha. She was initially shy about it, but after some coaxing from me, my brother, my mom, and our grandma, she summoned the courage to joke around and make my dad buy her one.

Last Sunday we went to Greenhills and we got her a DSLite. She was seriously happy!

Amazingly, she's quite easy to please (unlike my brother and I) and she doesn't demand much (again, unlike my brother and I. LOL).

So the seller also included an R4 with the console and even had us choose games to load up the card with. I was the one who chose the games so I can just copy them off from my cousin.

Now I have 2 other Castlevania titles, Final Fantasy III, and Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings.

Hopefully, my save files for the said games won't get corrupted.

OOTD: Tally Ho!

It's amazing chilly in this tropical country of mine; hence, it's a chance for people to get that jacket out of the closet and wear a bit more layers than the usual. It's only a chance to get the sniffles (like me!)

Anyhoo, since I was feeling rather badly yesterday, I decided to bundle up and dress up a bit.

Ta-dah!

4. Studded ankle booties Juan by Janilyn (P999, I got it on sale!!!)

Ahahaha. This may look like a typical outfit in other places; but like I said, I live in a tropical country. Here in the 7,107 Islands of the Philippines, we only get to enjoy the cold breeze come January-February. The rest of the year is all sun and rain.

I also braided a part of my bangs and clipped it to the sides since I've been planning to that to for a while now. What sucks is that I have a lot of baby hair and they kept on sticking up.

Anyway, don't you just love the Tally Ho shirt? I got that for a bargain! The shirt is from Bangladesh and it cost me just P150 (that's roughly 3 USD)

Also, if you noticed, I took my pictures in a fitting room. My room has poor lighting and I really didn't want to waste the opportunity to take a picture. Bwahahaha. Of course, I had to have something to fit so I could use the fitting room, right? So I saw these boyfriend shirt type tops and I decided to take those to the fitting room. It was amazing that one of the shirts I tried out costs only P140 (again, roughly 3 USD) . Obviously I bought that one.

Oh goodness, temptations, temptations.

I also got some stuff from Terranova today. I will post a picture soon enough.

i should seriously stop being tempted so much. I'm turning into a shoppaholic.

I wrote about reading Hanayomesama Wa 16 Sai. I actually finished it already. Well, it's actually not finished yet; however, there are no available translated scans yet. It was kind irritating because there's no specific scanlation team for it (I think). So I was reading chapter translated by different people a couple of times. I almost gave up because the numbering of the chapters were not in their consecutive order (like reading chapter 3 and when you click next you get chapter 9). It was annoying!

Err.. So what did I think of it? I'm giving it 5 out of 10. It was too predictable and there's not much going. For a smut manga, it doesn't actually have a lot of smut. Not that I'm only after the smut, but since it was categorized as smut, you would think there's a lot of it going on.

Well, if you want something to read out of boredom, try reading Hanayomesa Wa 16 Sai. Maybe you'll like it, I didn't.

Moving along, I finally got my Marc by Marc Jacobs Standard Supply Overlay Tote-ally Big Tote (whew that's a mouthful!)!

I've been letting the opportunity to buy this bag pass by for a while now since I'm holding off from buying so many things. I've been buying more than what I earn. orz

Well, anyway, I finally decided to get it! This is the big tote but I'm hoping to get the smaller one too so I can bring that one for quick coffee meet-ups with my friends. I don't think bringing such a big bag with only a few small things inside would be practical. LOL.

I also made that Erza/Jella gif up there! Yay! The last gif I made was way back 2004 out of sheer luck. I actually can't believe that I am still able to do a gif. Wee. Btw, that scene is from Fairy Tail episode 114. I had to be vigilant to pause on the right moment.

Since I realized that I can actually do gifs, maybe I'll make more soon-ish. Like always, if I don't get lazy or distracted. orz

Hanayomesama Wa 16-Sai

Please be advised that, even though the genre of this manga is smut, I'm not tagging this post as 18+ or even viewer discretion since I will not be talking about the nitty gritty of this manga. I don't know much about it yet since I have just started reading this. Seriously. I'm only a couple of pages in.

Soooo...ever since my mother got her iPad (actually it was given to her, but I'm claiming it... well... until I'm finished paying for my SLR, when I get my own iPad) I've been using it to read online manga. I'm not really patient with reading on the computer because I get distracted easily. LOL. Plus reading on a tablet is more portable. I usually read when I'm already lying in bed, almost bed time. Muwahahaha.

So anyway, I've been reading a bunch of mangas. Recently I finished reading the whole Kaikan Phrase series by Mayu Shinjo and then some other stuff that I will remember when I search for them. LOL.

Actually, I'm supposed to be reading Love Celeb (since the story crosses, somewhat, with Kaikan Phrase) but like always, I get distracted by other things; hence, I am now reading Ryuu Yuuhi's Hanayomesama Wa 16-Sai.

So what is this all about? Hanayomesama Wa 16-Sai is about a girl named Tamaki, who recently lost her mother due to illness. On her death bed, her mother gave her a letter (or an address, it's written on paper!) telling her to go to an acquaintance's home so they can take care of her. What she didn't know that her mother and the (former) master of the house made a pact from way back, that Tamaki will be marrying the son of her mother's friend.

So as always, maintaining a blog is not something I am cut out for. It's annoying though that I have a lot to say and Twitter can only do so much (140 character limit. Pfft).

I have a lot of anime to catch up to (downloads-wise). I attempted to make notes of the episodes that I'm missing but typing them was tedious. Hehehe. I did write them down on paper. I think I like writing on paper than on the computer.

Anyway, the only anime that I'm currently watching religiously is Fairy Tail and then I'm attempting to...

SEE?! I got distracted again!

Bah! I'll just post this to remind myself of how much lazy I am.

My Summer 2011 Anime watchlist is now complete (well, those that I've actually watched. I still have Itsuka Tenmo no Kuro Usagi, Sacred Seven, and No. 6).

Today I saw the last episodes of Blood-C, Mayo Chiki, and Dantalian no Shoka.

All I can say is...

I'm rather busy with reading something so I would mostly likely give my 2 cents about the last 3 shows I was watching for this season tomorrow or sometime this week.

For now, I'm checking out the Fall 2011 line up and I have started with Fate/Zero and C³.

I am also waiting for the 1st episode of Sengoku Paradise. I am hoping this fills up my need for otome/harem show needs.

I had serious high hopes for this series because CLAMP made this. I know that CLAMP makes such twisted stories, but this one is just so fucked up.

I was debating whether to ~~create a new blogger, wordpress,tumblr account~~ to post about my two-cents about the anime shows that I have been watching or choose of the many online account I have. Then I realized that doing that would mean extra work for me. I don't even have the time nor strength to maintain all of my accounts. So I didn't. And I just thought, "why not use my DW account instead?". So here I am.

Today I shall be talking about the Playstation Portable game-turned-manga-turned-anime Uta no☆Prince-sama♪ Maji Love 1000% also-known-as UtaPri (which we will call by this name from now on).

So what is UtaPri all about?

With dreams of becoming a composer and someday writing a song for her favorite idol, Haruka enters the Saotome Academy, a prestigious performing arts school. If successful there, she’ll be able to join the Shining Agency after graduation. However, it won’t be so easy when Haruka is already surrounded by potential idols and composers. On top of that, her homeroom teacher is a current idol, the headmaster was a record-breaking singer, and the academy itself is a chaotic place where anything can happen. The day started somewhat shitty for me. My brother usually walks with me to the alley in our village coz I walk to where I get a ride to work. Let's just say there's no visible light in that way and more than 10 kids (well, teenagers) were hanging around the place, they looked drunk, and they looked like they were capable of doing very evil things.

Anyway, after doing my workload for the day (I do work, y'know?), I had a sudden inkling to find some pictures of my Super Junior bias Cho Kyu Hyun. Anyhoo, here are my deviation for this cutie (and a lone icon for Super Junior just coz they all look adorable there).

A new home!

Many thanks to paperwine for posting some activation codes. I got the chance to create my account because of this lovely user.:)

So this is another home for me. I finally got the LJ cut to work for me & found a lil something something to make tables for my icons with numbers below, so I'm pretty happy.

The fact that Dreamwidth is much like LJ, I don't think I'll have a hard time maneuvering this here.:)
